What the low scores from the Niets show!!?

 

 

The results of 2016 national tests in nine core subjects for 

Mathayom 6 ( Grade 12) students organized by the National

Institution of Education Testing Service (Niets) show that

Thai students failed eight out of nine snbject on everage.

 

Of nine subject,each comprising a total of 100 marks,

Thai had the highest average score at 56.65,while the

mean results for the other eight subjects_ Social Science,

English,Chemistry,Physics,Biology,Mathematics1,

Mathematics2 and General Science_ were less than 50.

A total of 179,968 students participated in the tests.

In my opinion,as the result from the Niets test, it shows that

Thai education should reform because the fact is while the

students in rural areas get higher scores or full ,the students

in urban areas get lower scores or zero.

 

Students in urban areas can not pay for the private tutors

while they are lack of  qualified teacher also.

 

This is the long time problem in Thai education desspite the

fact that we spend a lot of budgets for the education system.

 

If we can not slove the problem of the education,the conflicts

in the society will never stop in my believe.
