Two new bomb suspects release image are going to be arrested!!

Police obtained arrest warrants for two more suspects in the

Erawan shrine bombing, a man and a woman, and then

released sketches of them in a nationwide live telecast

 on Monday.

Police spokesman Prawut Thawornsiri said one arrest warrant

was for Wanna Suansant, 26, who rented a room at Maimuna

Garden Home, an apartment building in Bangkok's Min Buri

district. The woman was earlier  identified only as "Misaloh".

When police searched the room on Sunday they found urea-based

fertiliser, a radio-controlled toy vehicle of which components

could be used to detonate a bomb remotely, bolts  that could

be used as shrapnel, and decorative lights that could be used

for ignition. The second arrest warrant is for an unidentified

man of unknown nationality, he said. (continued below)

The images released by the police are shown during the
live broadcast at noon on Monday.

Pol Maj Gen Prawut said they are asking the owners of the

apartments frequented by foreigners to keep a close watch

on their properties and report immediately anyone of similar

appearance or who is behaving in a suspicious manner.

The two new arrest warrants raised to four the number of

people now wanted under warrant for involvement in the

Erawan shrine bombing on Aug 17 that killed 20 people and

injured 131 and the bomb explosion at Sathorn pier the following

day. One foreigner, whose identitity and nationality have still

not been confirmed, was arrested with bomb-making materials

at an apartment in Nong Chok, Min Buri, on Saturday.

The three others, including the prime suspect, remain at large.

Items seized from the woman's apartment room were shown on

 the televised noon police briefing.

National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) spokesman

Col Winthai Suvaree said Deputy Prime Minister and Defence

Minister Prawit Wongsuwon emphasised that the police should

show caution in investigating the case, and information gathered

should be used to help develop effective preventive measures

against any future attacks. The case was still open and no

possible clues were being ignored. Investigators  wanted solid

evidence and witnesses, coupled with forensic results, to

ensure a clear and tight case. The media were also asked to

be more cautious in presenting news related to the investigation,

to prevent  public confusion. The media should refrain from

unfounded assumptions, and from criticism, as the issues were

sensitive and might impact national security or

international relations.

News,Security,Bangkok Post, 31 August 2015.

In my believe, this bomb case ordered by someone who

has lossed the power and the benefit in political field,

because bad politicians can do everythings they want to get

the power back.

It is no reson for business to do this because it caused

damage to the business.

It is the duty of the police and the government to stop the

case to happen more.

In my believe also, the police can find and know who do

it, but the arrest due to the evidence which I think can

 not  easy find.

Sincerely Yours.

Army chief pick boosts Prayut’s chances!!!

Clockwise from top left, the Oct 1 army succession:Gen Thirachai Nakwanich, commander; Gen Pisit Sitthisarn, chief of staff;
Lt Gen Theppong Tippayajan, 1st Army chief; Maj Gen Apirat Kongsompong, 1stArmy chief; Maj Gen Apirat Kongsompong,
 1st Corps commander .

The choice of the new army chief, with his line of succession

a subject of heavy speculation, looks likely to help Prime

Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha consolidate his power and remain

in the top seat at least until the next election.

Instrumental in picking assistant army chief Thirachai

Nakwanich  for the army chief post is Deputy Prime Minister

and Defence  Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwon, dubbed the

"big brother''  in the National Council for Peace and Order

(NCPO), according  to a military source. Gen Thirachai,

who will start working as  army chief on Oct 1, has been chosen

with future candidates  for army chief visible. The source said

Gen Prayut needs to  install men loyal to him who can keep

the army politically  stable.

Stability is the pre-requisite of Gen Prayut remaining

in the premier's seat at least  until early 2017 when the time

is up for the NCPO to execute its roadmap of national

administration and reforms and a general election is likely

to be held. But the business of finding a trustworthy choice

of army chief, and his future successor, also fell to Gen Prawit

who commands respect within and outside the army, the core

of the armed forces' strength. Gen Thirachai is replacing

Gen Udomdej Sitabutr, concurrently deputy defence minister.

Assistant army chief Preecha Chan-o-cha, who is Gen Prayut's

younger brother, has been promoted to defence permanent

secretary, despite having been a contender for the army

 chief post.

Gen Thirachai will be the fourth army chief from the powerful

Burapha Phayak army clique. The three former army chiefs

from the clique are Gen Anupong Paojinda, Gen Prayut and

Gen Udomdej. The fraternity runs deeps as they all rose

through the ranks before heading the 2nd Infantry Division,

Queen's Guard, except for Gen Udomdej, who has not served

 as chief of the division.

Gen Thirachai graduated in Class 14 of the Armed Forces

Academies Preparatory School (AFAPS) and he is due to

retire September next year. Although Gen Thirachai and

Gen Udomdej are not close, Gen Udomdej decided to nominate

Gen Thirachai who is known as one of Gen Prawit's proteges,

according to the source. When Gen Thirachai takes the helm

of the army, some senior officers close to Gen Udomdej could

face transfers. Meanwhile those connected to Gen Prawit are

likely to stay put. Gen Thirachai, a stiff top brass, was trusted

enough by both Gen Prawit and Gen Prayut to be made

the First Army chief in charge of combat military forces

during last year's coup. He was later appointed leader of

the NCPO's peace maintaining forces. Once an army chief,

Gen Thirachai is expected to appoint Gen Pisit Sitthisarn,

an army special expert and director of the NCPO's reconciliation

efforts, as the army chief-of-staff who will automatically become

secretary-general of the Internal Security Operations Command

(Isoc). If appointed as expected, he will be in line to become

the next army chief to succeed Gen Thirachai. Gen Pisit,

who is due to retire in 2017, has a good chance to win over

other candidates including Lt Gen Chalermchai Sitthisat,

head of the Special Warfare Command, in next year's selection

of army chief because he is also Gen Prawit's close aide.

Lt Gen Theppong Tippayajan, 1st corps commander, meanwhile,

is expected to be made First Army chief, placing him in line

for the army chief post later. Lt Gen Theppong is one of

Gen Prayut's closest aides, the source said. Maj Gen Apirat

Kongsompong, deputy First deputy First Army chief, is

expected to succeed Lt Gen Theppong as the new 1st corps

commander in next year's reshuffle. He could then be

qualified to assume the army chief post in the future as he

retires in 2019. Also, Gen Sommai Kaodeera, chief of staff

of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, becomes the new supreme

commander, with his retirement due next year. Gen Surapong

Suwanna-at will succeed Gen Sommai and he could be the

next supreme commander. As for the navy, Adm Na Areenij,

chief-of-staff, is to be the new navy chief. His appointment

came as a surprise as Adm Narongpol na Bangchang, assistant

navychief, was previously expected to succeed the incumbent

navy chief, Adm Kraisorn Jansuwanich. A source said Adm

Narongpol's nomination as chief faced objection from Gen

Prawit and several former navy chiefs due to the fact that

the navy had never before appointed someone who graduated

abroad as its chief. Adm Narongpol graduated from a naval

school in Germany.

Besides, Adm Na and several of his friends from Class 15 of

the AFAPS have close relations with Gen Prawit. Adm Narongpol

will serve as deputy navy chief. Adm Narongpol is in charge

of submarine procurement project. The navy plans to purchase

three submarines from China for 36 billion baht. The purchase

plan now awaits cabinet approval. In the air force, ACM Jom

Rungsawang, chief of staff, is in line to succeed air force chief

ACM Treetos Sonjaeng, who retires next year.

News,Politics,Bangkok Post, 31 August 2015.

In my viewpoint, although all chiefs army have closed

relationship, I believe the new positions appointment  are

for the effectiveness of the army and for the benefits of the

country, not for the benefit of Gen Prayut.

Sincerely Yours.

Phone data leads to bomb arrest a Turkish fake passport man!!

Ball bearings and bomb-building equipment found in suspect's room.

Police say a painstaking process of tracing phone records led
to Saturday’s arrest of a key suspect in the deadly Erawan
Shrine bombing.

under arrest: Police are still working to confirm the identity of
the suspect, who was apprehended at a Nong Chok apartment
with a poor quality forgery of a Turkish passport.

A police source close to the investigation said the arrest of the

foreign man, who is believed to be Turkish, came after

investigators spent more than a week sifting through every

mobile phone call made within the vicinity of the shrine

around the time of the bombing on Aug 17. He said officers

managed to identify three Turkish phone numbers which had

activated international roaming services and were in use near

the blast site. Police apparently traced one of those phone

numbers to the suspect apprehended yesterday.

Around 100 police and soldiers moved in to make the arrest

around 3pm at the Pool Anant apartment building in Nong

Chok district, in the city’s eastern outskirts. A military source

said the suspect held a Turkish passport by the name of

Adem Karadag, 28, although the document was later found

to be fake. A large quantity of bomb-making materials and

equipment which allegedly belong to the suspect were seized

from his rented room. Deputy national police chief Chakthip

Chaijinda said “many” passports had also been found in

the suspect’s room. They were confiscated as evidence and

would be tested for authenticity. Pol Gen Chakthip said

it was unclear if the suspect is the same man seen on CCTV

footage wearing a yellow T-shirt and depositing a backpack

at the Erawan Shrine minutes before the bombing.

However, sources in the Metropolitan Police Bureau and

the Crime Suppression Division said the suspect is not

believed to be the bomber. Instead he is believed to be

one of three individuals involved in orchestrating the blast,

which killed 20 people and injured 130.

Authorities have linked the incident to another bomb which

exploded in the water near the Sathon pier the following day.

There were no injuries. The police sources said the detained

suspect is believed to have delivered the bomb to the suspect

in the yellow T-shirt at Hua Lamphong train station,

shortly before the bomber caught a tuk-tuk to the shrine to

plant the device. The sources added the Erawan Shrine and

Sathon pier bombers may have already fled the country.

The detained suspect possibly remained in the country

because he has problems with his travel document,

the sources said. Even passing inspection of the fake passport

showed several inconsistencies, the most notable being that

the “date of expiry” line had been printed twice.

The suspect has been charged with possessing explosives

without permission, said national police chief Somyot

Poompanmuang. He was remanded in military custody

at an undisclosed location yesterday after being briefly

detained for questioning at Nong Chok police station.

Before that, officers had searched five rooms at the apartment

complex, four of which proved empty.

Crime Suppression Division commander Akkaradech Pimolsri

said bomb making equipment and parts were found in the

suspect’s room, including  large packs of 5mm ball bearings,

the same as the type used in the two bombings.

Also recovered were a detonator, batteries, electrical wires,

a metal pipe, chemical containers and a gunpowder-stained shirt.

A police source said rental contracts showed all five rooms had

been rented by a male Turkish passport holder named

Ammet Mehmet Emin Ayse on January 27 last year.

Local residents living near the apartment building told reporters

the suspect could not speak Thai and mostly kept to himself.

Sometimes, he and several friends would eat at a local food stall.

Pol Gen Somyot and police spokesman Prawut Thawornsiri

later inspected the apartment complex. Pol Gen Somyot

became visibly irritated when confronted by a reporter’s

question as to whether the suspect was a scapegoat.

“How can you ask such a question? Are you Thai?

It’s completely unhelpful,” he said. During the raid yesterday,

police had cordoned off a 100-metre-wide area around the

apartment building. One lane of Chuem Samphan Road

adjacent to the apartment was also closed.

Col Noppasit Sithipongsophon, who led the military team

in the joint search operation yesterday, said the detained

suspect was  was “definitely involved” with the shrine bombing.

News,Security,Bangkok Post,30 August 2015.

In my viewpoint,I believe that the detained suspect fake Turkish

passot is definitely involves with the shrine bombing because

there is no reason for the police to fake it,and the arrested happen

 after the process of investigation.

The fact that the room of the detained suspect was rent since

January 27 last year was frighten me ,because it mean that

they have paln for  a long time ,just wiat for the time to bomb

and frighten Thai people and also to insult the military

 government.

So the government must find that who is the real person

who order this bomb to happen and arrest them so that it will

be safe for the future.

Sincerely Yours.
