Crisis in Aviation reflect every level of Thai crisis!!


 
The ban on Thai-registered airlines was imposed after

 The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

 said it detected “significant safety concerns” in a recent

audit of the Department of Civil Aviation’s (DCA)

operation standards.

The UN organization has doubted the DCA’s standards

in issuing license to airlines serving passengers and

hazardous cargoes as well as its concurrent roles as

 the regulators and regional airport operator and its

insufficient workforce to take up all licensing tasks

amid booming air traffic.

The Japan Civil Aviation Bureau(JCAB),which also

 banned charter flights to Japan from Thai airlines,

recently agreed to allow six Thai -register airlines

to operate flights to Japan from April 11 to May31

 

By the way,South Korea’s aviation agency will allow

Thai Airways International(THAI)  and Thai Air

Asia X to increase the amount of scheduled flights into the

country and also granted Jet Air Airways a temporary

reprieve to operate flights from April 7-15.

 

It was earlier report that Chaina would follow in Japan’s

footsteps and ban carriers from Thaialnd following safety

concern.But on April 9, Chinese officials told a Thai

delegation that it would not prohibit Thai-registered plans

from entering Chaina.

 

So Thai Aviation still banning by Japan and South Korea,

however Transport Minister Prajin Juntong said he believe

that Thai air transport authorities could meet airline

certification standards of the ICAV with 90-day deadline

 two months from now.

Crisis in Aviation come from pulling a few strings,

conflict of interest and the corruption.The ICAO

indicated that it is because of lack of implementation

the impact of the crisis are not only through aviation,

tourism but also the bad image of the country.

The DCA vision is to “drive the nation civil aviation

To gain acceptance and be competitive worldwide”

According to the vision ,we have been failing now.

To overcome the lack of implementation,the rule

in aviation must be stick and always rectify

the rule to confirm to the rule of ICAO

 

Hope crisis in aviation can solve and we can competitive

with the others again.
