Two projects are postponed due to many criticism and
resistance ot change of
Thai people.They are Pretroleum
exploration concession the 21 st and Land and Building
tax.
Today we going to talk about the postponed project,
the Petroleum exploration concession :
First deadline to accept the bids is on February 18,
postponed
to March 16 and will extend about three months according
to the decision of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha
after
many critismS about the concession.The Premier Gen Prayut
said he want to creat an understanding among all
parties.
If an agreement is reach the government will have time
to produce.
On old basis Petroleum exploration concession is based
on
concession basis but there are argument that it should
swith
to the production –sharing contract (PSC) system,which
are
more flexible and beneficial to the country.
The point to decision is we resist the Petroleum
exploration
concession or we resist the method to allocate benefit.
If we resist the concession then the 21 st Petroleum exploration
concession
will never except and implement.But if the problem
is due to the method to allocate benefit so if the law
has corrected
then this project can be continue.
As the period of the concession is very long about 38
years
so the decision is must carefully to provide the benefit
to
Thai people who
are the owner of the country.Otherwise all
benefit will pass
through the investors and Thai people will
remain with the old problem of too expensive petroleum
and oil price.
In my viewpoint I support the idea to find a new domestic
petroleum source to make up our own product so that
we are not too much depend on other country like nowadays.
If the analysis result is found that the
production-sharing
contract (PSC)
provide win-win situation to investors
and the country we should go along with it and make
more progress and more energy source to our country.
